The key objective of UIMC is to fully transfer the armed forces of Russia to digital means of communication, automated control systems and radioelectronic warfare systems, and to raise their share in the armed forces up to 70% by 2020, at the same time reducing the number of key threats to the security of Russian information facilities and systems and developing means for combating cyber crime and cyber terrorism.
The main projects that are being implemented at the moment by UIMC incorporate development of army communication systems of the 6th generation and modern communication systems for aircrafts, including T 50 fighter.
UIMC incorporates 55 enterprises and organizations.
, a part of Russia's state technologies corporation Rostec, added that the new radio sets feature the ability to choose optimal communication routes and the automatic testing and restoration of operational capacity.
"Many believed if you told the patient you made a mistake, you would write a check right there," says John DeNardo, CEO at UIMC. "What we have found is that there is not an increased tendency to sue, but rather a reduction."
Timothy McDonald, M.D., anesthesiologist and UIMC's chief safety and risk officer, in June was awarded a $3 million grant from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality to see how greater transparency impacts patient safety and litigation.
"Residents are supposed to pay [for their renter's policy] with their rent to UIMC," said Jordan Miller, Property Manager for UIMC.
"Or they can carry third-party insurance and UIMC gets proof that they carry insurance or notification when they drop," he explained, similar to car insurance.
According to the UIMC
spokesman, the computer is part of the Vologda UAV control complex that can operate up to 10 UAVs from different manufacturers to collect aerial reconnaissance data and quickly transmit information to command centers or troops, the spokesman told RIA Novosti.
