The deal has the unanimous support of UMIA's board of governors who recommended subscribers to approve it.Completion is expected by the end of the the first quarter of 2013, subject to securing regulatory clearance and the votes of a majority of UMIA's subscribers.
MMIC, UMIA and Arkansas Mutual Insurance Company, Constellation's medical professional liability companies, will exclusively market Imprivata's portfolio of health care IT security solutions in the 16 states, including Arkansas, Colorado, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
