The programme, which will end in 2015, is valued at $6bn through the funding of the United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security Fund (UNTFHS
), the Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC) and the Permanent Mission of Japan to the United Nations.
The project tiled, "Livelihood Restoration, Protection and Sustainable Empowerment of Vulnerable Peasant Communities in Sindh Province" is a three year project funded by United Nations Trust Fund for Human Security (UNTFHS
) and will be implemented jointly by the International Labour Organization (ILO), Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) and the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women (UNWOMEN).
