Outcome parameters such as uncorrected distance visual acuity (UDVA), uncorrected intermediate visual acuity (UIVA), uncorrected near visual acuity (UNVA), etc., were determined.
Mplus IOLs exhibited good uncorrected near visual acuity (UNVA).
Figure 1 shows monocular and binocular UDVA, UIVA, and UNVA values at 1 month, 3 months, and 6 months postoperatively.
The patients' mean binocular UDVA, UIVA, and UNVA levels at postoperative 1, 3, and 6 months are shown in Table 4.
Comparing our results with the binocular visual outcomes reported by Pedrotti et al, our study showed marginally better results for mean UDVA, UNVA
, UIVA (60 cm), and CDVA at the end of the 6-month follow-up (Table 6).
The US Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had raided UNVA's Annandale administrative offices on Thursday.
A notice on the door of UNVA's offices tells students that they must leave the US if they cannot "continue to attend classes and maintain their active status in a manner required by federal government regulations".

In response to a question, MEA official spokesperson Vishnu Prakash said: "We understand that the US Immigration authorities (ICE) served a notice of intent yesterday, on the University of Northern Virginia (UNVA
) to withdraw its authorization.
In patients who underwent unilateral surgery, the UDVA, CDVA, mesopic CDVA, and UIVA of the operated eyes did not differ from the unoperated eyes (P > 0.05 for all comparisons); the DCIVA of the operated eyes was significantly worse than that of the unoperated eyes (P < 0.001); the UNVA
and DCNVA of the operated eyes were significantly better than those of the unoperated eyes (P < 0.001 for both comparisons).
Patient-reported outcomes were measured using a visual analog scale with regard to UDVA satisfaction, UNVA
satisfaction, and global satisfaction.
Measurement of the near vision at 30 cm showed that 40 (85%) and 45 eyes (96%) achieved an UNVA
and DCNVA of 20/32 or better, respectively.
