Uma Shankar, a local lawyer had registered a complaint with the UPSIDC alleging that the land was illegally handed over to the RGCT.
But it has not yet moved an application before the UPSIDC to hand over the land to it.
In 2010, he was back with the UPSIDC for a brief stint before being suspended again in 2011.
The UPSIDC board charged him on 14 counts, nine of which pertained to the sale of prime land in Ghaziabad at a throwaway price allegedly in exchange for kickbacks ( see box below).
Sources said all this money appears to have been earned through illegal means, especially bribes and embezzlement in the Tronia City project, when Mishra was the UPSIDC
