The number of identified VEMT children was revealed in a report by Redcar and Cleveland Council's cabinet member for children, Craig Hannaway.
Cllr Hannaway's report highlighted how the council's VEMT Practitioner's Group (VPG) was helping identify other at-risk children by "mapping" each VEMT child's associates and their links to perpetrators.
