and Victoria Police to celebrate Wear Orange Wednesday, which is a national day of recognition for SES volunteers.

volunteer members, who selflessly don their orange overalls and respond to emergencies such as floods, storms and road rescues.
The Transport Accident Commission (TAC) will support VICSES
volunteers by establishing Pit Stops at a number of the states busiest rest spots, providing free coffee, food, family-friendly activities and prizes.

volunteers, as well as fund new buildings, trucks, boats and trailers.

Mr Wells said the briefings will include representatives from Emergency Management Victoria, CFA, Department of Environment and Primary Industries, MFB, VICSES
, Victoria Police, Department of Health, Department of Human Services and local councils.
There has also been a coordinated response between affected councils, Victoria Police, the Country Fire Authority, VICSES
Mr Wells said he hoped emergency services personnel from MFB, CFA, VICSES
, Victoria Police and Ambulance Victoria would exceed the nearly 400 blood donations they made last year.
