This is a significant change, because previous WAAR
reports placed cross-site scripting (XSS) and directory traversal attacks ahead of SQLi attacks in terms of frequency.
The WAAR outlines the frequency, type and geography of origin of each attack to help security professionals better prioritize vulnerability remediation.
According to the WAAR, attack traffic during the six month period was characterized by spikes of high volume attack activity followed longer periods of lighter activity, key indicators of automation.
A WAAR spokeswoman said: "We can't allow this ban to be abandoned just because hunt extremists want a return to killing for fun.
WAAR is now trying to recruit more members and to network with other Welsh groups opposing attempts to repeal the ban.
