Since a higher copper content is more beneficial to adhesion, a lower copper content was chosen to show that excellent adhesion may be obtained with WAP A and WAP B without the added expense of a high copper content brass coated steel tire cord.
WAP A and WAP B will be shown to have not only excellent adhesion and wire coverage in both unaged and aged environments, but will also demonstrate good physical properties in both unaged and aged conditions.
Both WAP A and WAP B demonstrate excellent adhesion and wire coverage compared to the control systems.
