WCDC health care programming has two components (1) primary health care, and (2) prevention and wellness.
The earlier-mentioned empowerment-based principles are intrinsic elements in the management and operational philosophy of the WCDC health care model and are important to the clinic's success and financial solvency.
WCDC programs have a multigenerational focus, designed to affect Westside residents at all stages of the life cycle.
Residents are also active representatives of the WCDC Board of Directors and participate in the formulation of WCDC policy and program decisions.
Because of the continued participation and input from residents, WCDC has ensured that their programs and services remain culturally sensitive and appropriate for their community.
WCDC has a tradition of providing a continuum of comprehensive and integrated services.
