Machado A, Conceicao AR (2007) Programa Estatistico
Winstat: Sistema de Analise Estatistico para Windows.
As shown in the table below (obtained from
winStat), the correlation between GDI and DI is 0.0292; this is a very small value, suggesting these quantities are nearly independent.
The statistical package used was Microsoft Excel with
WinStat.
Statistical analyses were performed by using Microsoft Excel
WinStat (Microsoft Corp, Redmond, Wash) and SPSS version 12 (SPSS Inc, Chicago, Ill).
All of the statistical packages described here offer basic database management functions, transforms using logical statements (except for
WinSTAT), descriptive statistics, crosstabulation, ANOVA, correlation, and multiple regression.
Tum istatiksel analizler Microsoft Excel
WinSTAT (the statistics Add-In for Microsoft Excel, Bad Krozingen, Germany) istatistik paket programi ile yapildi.
For the execution of the statistical analysis system for Windows (
WinStat, v 1.0) (Machado & Conceicao, 2003) was used.
The data were submitted to analysis of variance and the averages analyzed by the Tukey test at 5% probability, using the
Winstat 2.0 program.
All objects were assembled into cluster trees (dendrograms) by the algorithm included into the
WINSTAT program (Kalmia Co, MA, U.S.A.).
Os dados foram submetidos a analise de variancia e as medias comparadas pelo teste de Tukey com 5% de probabilidade pelo software
WINSTAT (Machado e Conceicao, 2007).
