Presenter Kristin Liu, LEED AP, senior associate business development, Syska Hennessy, spoke of Syska's contribution to the United Nations Capital Master Plan renovation, a project incorporating many WMBEs and reflecting Fitzpatrick's passion for "high-performance solutions" and advocacy of energy conservation.
Shults noted, too, that over the past three years, 85% of RGI buildings have achieved LEED certification, and that RGI greatly supports the role of WMBEs.
"Working with WENIG, I noticed how the requirements for WMBE (Women & Minority Business Enterprises) often prompted us to sub out all or part of our contracts.
