[USA] June 25( ANI ): American rapper Meek Mill paid tribute to rappers XXXTentacion and Jimmy Wopo, both of whom were killed during gun violence last week.
While performing his new song 'Stay Woke' at Sunday night's BET Awards, the rapper wore a T-shirt with the faces of both XXX and Wopo, reported the Hollywood Reporter.
In the second incident, Wopo died after a double shooting in Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and local television stations reported.
In a statement on his Facebook page, Wopo's manager Taylor Maglin wrote, "I lost my brother today and it's the worst feeling in the world.
Wopo, 21, whose real name was Travon Smart, was considered a rising star in the Pittsburgh rap scene and his 2016 "Elm Street" music video has garnered more than six million views on YouTube.
