Srage has more than 15 years experience in the mobile industry, having spent more than a decade at Texas Instruments (TI) where he oversaw marketing operations for the wireless terminals business unit. Srage also co-managed TI Ventures, the company's venture finance fund, where he directed TI's investments in start-up companies and focused on the wireless and telecoms industries.
"TI has been one of ARM's lead Partners for more than 12 years, and during this time we have shipped an impressive 1.7 billion ARM processor-based chips," said Gilles Delfassy, TI's senior vice president of its Wireless Terminals Business Unit. "TI built the industry's leading baseband processing product and OMAP applications processor by combining ARM processors with TI DSPs for telecom and multimedia and by supporting micro-computing based on open standards.
Added to the 2003 workshop lineup is "Power Management for Mobile Communications Devices" by Bill Krenik, who is wireless advanced architectures manager for the Wireless Terminals Business Unit of Texas Instruments.
