Data from the report are shared with the World Internet Project at the University of Southern California's Annenberg School for Communications and are the sole source of Middle East data for that biennial study.
El wip Mexico forma parte de la red World Internet Project, impulsada por el doctor Jeffrey Cole en el Centro para el Estudio del Futuro Digital, en la Universidad del Sur de California en Annenberg, y desde 2009 realiza su estudio anual.
Al igual que en los tres anos anteriores, (4) la investigacion fue desarrollada a partir de los lineamientos metodologicos establecidos por el World Internet Project. Nuestro estudio comprendio cada una de las 31 entidades federativas y el Distrito Federal.

The World Internet Project (WIP) is looking for a partnership with the Northwestern University Qatar to undertake the study that may help the country craft policies for the future to further develop communication technologies.
The World Internet Project originated at the UCLA Centre for Communication Policy (now the USC Annenberg School Centre for the Digital Future) and was founded with the NTU School of Communication Studies in Singapore and the Osservatorio Internet Italia at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy.
