In addition, Ashcroft said, with only half the number of instruments to install, the Xmitr series instruments are designed to reduce the cost of purchasing, installing and calibrating multiple gauges.
Ashcroft manufactures the Xmitr X1009 gauge at its 325,000 sq.ft.
According to Ashcroft, the Xmitr can be used in place of both a dial-mechanical pressure gauge and transducer/transmitter output device, allowing the installation of one instrument for both functions.
Combining traditional transducer features, the Xmitr gauge incorporates 4 to 20 mA and voltage outputs, CE ratings and 1% BFSL (best fit, straight line) accuracy.
In applications where only a transducer is needed, the Xmitr has analog local indication for start-up, emergencies and maintenance situations.
