Unfortunately, at the last minute, the
YNC refused to visit Bulgaria, because it felt insulted by a speech delivered by Metropolitan Stefan at a funeral in Sofia, where he had mentioned that the Kingdom of Yugoslavia was oppressing the Bulgarians in its territory.
