The FAT wrench comes equipped with a square drive adapter bit, T10, T15, and T20
Torx bits, numbers 10, 11, and 32 flat blade bits, numbers 3/32" and 5/32" Allen bits, and a Leupold/Buehler windage bit.
Unfortunately, there's not much control anymore over distribution of the driver bits for designs like the
Torx tamperproof screws, Friedman said, so they go only as far as making vandalism inconvenient.
Slotted, Phillips and Pozidrivs got more points than the less common Allen or
Torx fasteners.
A discreet
torx screw in the handle allows deployment customization.
Six Allen, three
Torx, a flathead (which I wish was a little bigger), a Phillips and a punch.
The only difference between it and the standard Gun Tool is the red color in the grip, and, in the Ruger model, one of the
Torx wrenches is replaced by a big flat head screwdriver.
All that is required is a T27
Torx bit and a common inch-pound torque wrench.
It has the usual small and large slotted and Phillips bits, plus two sizes of square drives, two sizes of
Torx tips and two sizes of outdrive.
Swinging out from one end of the handle are the following drivers: a
Torx T15,
Torx T10, Allen 5/32" and an Allen 3/32".
The tool is flexible, allowing replacement of common parts using a simple
Torx #8.
Despite all of the high-tech goodies used to build the T1, it's a good bet the vehicle uses products from manufacturers like Powerlok,
Torx, and Taptite.
