When the relationship between maternal and infant anthropometric measurements and hormonal changes were analyzed, while there was no relationship between pre-pregnancy body mass index (BMI) values and anthropometric values of the infants, a statistically significant positive correlation was found between these values and the PI, abdomen and arm circumference of the infants and post-pregnancy BMI score and between PI and the infants' head, chest, abdomen, left mid arm circumference and skinfold thicknesses (triceps and biceps) (Table 3).

Associations were found between triceps skinfold thickness and work status (P=0.01), pain and triceps skinfold (P=0.05), and between arm circumference and patient satisfaction (P=0.03) and physical functioning (P=0.04) (Table 4).
But skinfold thickness, body fat composition and blood fats like LDL (bad) cholesterol all tended to be higher in regular consumers of carry-out meals.
Skinfold thickness was measured to the nearest 0.2 mm with a caliper (Harpenden CE0120, England) including biceps, triceps, subscapular, midaxillary, suprailiac, abdominal, medium thigh, and medial calf.
Briefly, height (to the nearest 0.5 cm), weight (to the nearest 0.1 kg), waist and hip circumferences, and skinfold thickness measurements at four sites (biceps, triceps, subscapular, and suprailiac) were obtained.
We also identified no significant differences in systolic and/or diastolic blood pressure, triceptal, biceptal, supraspinal, and subscapular skinfold thickness, total body fat, total body water, hip circumference, waist circumference, and hip-waist ratio between OB and non-OB individuals with respect to FSTL1 levels.

Data on skinfold thickness can be utilized in a number of ways.
Participants consuming olive oil regularly (compared to those using it occasionally or never) had greater triceps skinfold thickness (p=0.001 and p=0.004, respectively) and SST (p=0.019 and p=0.003, respectively).
The anthropometric measures (Body mass, height, abdominal circumference, and triceps skinfold thickness) were collected at the Kinesis Laboratory located at Universidade Potiguar (UNP), Natal, RN, Brazil.
