At GITEX Technology Week 2011, ITIDA or the Information Technology Industry Development Agency announced the launch of the e-Signature competence centre to simplify processes surrounding the adoption of Digital Identification services and e-citizen services.
To encourage this, ITIDA -- a Communications Ministry body set up to promote and nurture the offshoring industry -- started a $10-12 million a year program in 2008 to teach university students English, Microsoft software and other skills.
For ITIDA, 'one of Egypt's biggest growth areas is the communications and information technology sector, which grew by 14.6 percent in the fiscal year to June 2009.
The Forum has long been India's premier global meeting for the IT-BPO industry and this year sees Egypt's Information Technology Development Agency (ITIDA) as a platinum sponsor.
